Happy New Year!

The One Romance Team wish all of our past and future clients a very Happy New Year and hope all your wishes come true in 2018! We started 2018 just as we had ended 2017, incredibly busy and with a 100% proposal success rate!

Just before Christmas, we had Kyle and Beckie who got engaged on the London Eye. As Kyle wanted their daughter to be involved, Beckie received an adorable photo of their daughter with a sign asking ‘Mummy, will you marry Daddy?’. They were then whisked away to the Ice Bar in London for cocktails before heading over to the Hard Rock Café where they had many memories together!

Next up, we had a couple all the way from Germany who got engaged at the iconic Somerset House! A present was waiting for Jannieta underneath the enormous Christmas Tree and Wouter proposed as a huge balloon with ‘Marry Me’ came out of the box! You’ll have to wait for the full blog to find out the other huge surprise that was waiting in store for Janieta!

Just after Christmas, our proposal planners had 7 minutes to decorate a London Eye pod for Marcus to propose to his girlfriend Kathy. As always, they managed to transform the pod, adding to the romantic atmosphere as two singers began to perform their favourite songs. Marcus had prepared a presentation with photos of the two of them throughout their relationship, ending with him asking Kathy to be his wife!

At the start of 2018, our team headed into the luxurious area of Fitzrovia to one of London’s hidden gems: Fitzrovia Chapel. Wesley led Cheryl down the aisle of rose petals, candles and lights to the sound of their favourite songs being played and sung by two musicians. At the end they found photos of their travels around the world and a photobook that Wesley had made for her. He had been learning a new skill specially for this night and surprised Cheryl with it, but you’ll have to wait for the full blog to find out what it was!

We were also incredibly lucky with the weather on this next proposal as the sun came out just as our client proposed in the Italian Gardens in Hyde Park! The couple came across a singer who was performing her favourite song and she received 9 roses each with a personalised note. The 10^th rose was for our client to give to his future wife, with a note asking her to marry him.

Jateel and Aarti’s proposal began on Christmas Day when she received a puzzle with a missing piece. Only today would she find it at Tower Bridge! There were 4 easels with wrapped puzzle pieces representing their relationship and Jateel was waiting at the end with the final piece that said ‘Will you marry me?’ and a ring!

2017 was a very busy and successful year for us and we were blown away by how many of you chose The One Romance to create your once-in-a-lifetime moment! We always feel privileged to be trusted with such a special occasion and can’t wait to create many more in 2018.

In 2017, The One Romance also launched The One Baby: a sister company that organises pregnancy announcements, gender reveals and baby showers! Our Creative Team have loved this new and exciting challenge and have already impressed our clients with their unique ideas and handmade decorations and cakes. In 2018, we look forward to coming up with new and personal themes for each client and maybe we’ll see even have some returning clients who proposed with us!
