A September to Remember: Daisy Dreams, Sunset Views & Fairytale Proposals

September was a truly unforgettable month at The One Romance. From the cobbled streets and golden sunsets of Dubrovnik, to the glittering skyline of London, our team had the privilege of creating a number of beautiful and deeply personal proposals each as unique as the couple themselves.

Here are just a few of our favourite moments from the month that captured romance, creativity, and pure joy.

Magical Proposals in Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik has quickly become one of our favourite European destinations for romantic proposals and it’s easy to see why.
This September, we planned several breathtaking moments in this historic coastal city, each with its own personal story.

One couple enjoyed a sunset terrace proposal overlooking the Adriatic, where golden light danced across the waves as he got down on one knee.

For another, we transformed the terrace of a local restaurant into a private haven filled with candlelight, soft florals, and sentimental touches including a handwritten memory letter and printed photos of their journey together. It was intimate, authentic, and overflowing with emotion.

Every detail was carefully planned, from private taxi transfers to a hand-selected menu of local delicacies and professional photography, ensuring their evening felt effortless yet extraordinary.

A Daisy Proposal at The Shard, London

Back in London, we designed a truly personal proposal at the Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard.

The groom-to-be shared that his partner adored daisies so we filled the entire room with them, creating a whimsical sea of white and yellow blooms. As she walked in, a live violinist serenaded her against the glittering London skyline.

The joy and disbelief on her face said it all. It was the perfect blend of simplicity, luxury, and heartfelt emotion and a beautiful reminder that even the smallest details can make a proposal unforgettable.

A Fairytale Ballroom Proposal at Four Seasons Hampshire

One of the most cinematic moments of the month took place at the Four Seasons Hampshire, where she believed she was attending a client event… until she was led into the ballroom, completely transformed into a romantic fairytale.

Soft candlelight, white roses, our signature “It Was Always You” heart, and the sound of a live violinist filled the space. When he dropped to one knee, the room fell silent — and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.

Family, Music & Magic at Fitzrovia Chapel

We ended the month at one of our most cherished venues the magnificent Fitzrovia Chapel.

This proposal featured an elegant white and gold theme, echoing the chapel’s golden ceiling. A harpist played softly as she entered, unaware that her family had flown in from overseas to witness the moment.

When she turned to see them, tears of joy filled her eyes a powerful reminder that proposals aren’t just about two people, but the love that surrounds them.

A Month of Unforgettable Memories

September was a beautiful celebration of love in all its forms thoughtful gestures, creative designs, emotional surprises, and lasting memories.
