Romantic Advice: How to keep your romance alive after Valentine's Day

We’ve all been guilty of neglecting our love life from time to time (mine feels slightly dusty at the moment…) and sometimes Valentine’s Day can be the one big blow out day; think a cheat day for people on a fitness fad, to show your other half how much they really mean to you. But wouldn’t it be lovely, oh so lovely, so sprinkle your adoration like confetti throughout the year?

We’re particularly hearting these ideas right now for ‘oh so simple’ ways to show love is always in the air (yes, even on that hectic rainy Monday morning…)

Post it note perfection

We love sticking little notes all over our desks to remind us of upcoming proposal planning events, so imagine surprising your little gem with a simple little square of yellow paper in their lunch box, on their steering wheel, or dotted around the nest you share together. The beauty of these is they can say anything from a cute ‘I love you’ to a film quote that always cheers you both up.

romantic dating ideas in London
The idea of a date may take you back to that time you smooched on the back row at the cinema in 1999, but spending time together is what it’s all about. But rather than booking a meal or going bowling, why not make a pact to get involved with something the other person absolutely loves. That could be his choice of hitting a few balls at the driving range, or getting him to join in at your local Insanity class. After all, it’s those laughter moments that you’ll look back on in years to come!
