At The One Romance, every proposal begins not with a venue or a budget but with a story. The story of you.

We take those moments, how you met, your first trip together, her favourite flowers, that song you both love and weave them into something tangible. Something breathtaking. Something unforgettable.

Step One: Inspiration & Discovery

It all starts with a conversation. We ask questions that go beyond logistics we want to understand personalities, dreams, and sentimental details. Is your partner a minimalist romantic or a fairytale dreamer? Do they love grand gestures or private intimacy? These clues become the foundation of our design.

Step Two: Moodboards & Visual Concepts

Once we know your story, our in-house stylists and owner Amanda create a bespoke presentation. This includes venue suggestions, colour palettes, floral styling, props, lighting, and layout options designed to bring your vision to life. Many clients say this is when it suddenly “feels real.”

Step Three: Production

Once a final idea is in place your producer, Amanda, will finalise all the details, book and confirm the venue and teams from photographer, videographer, musician, chauffeurs, florists, pyrotechnics – the list is endless. She will have meetings with your photographic teams to brief in the style and feel of the photography. She will liaise with your stylist to create a prop list of all the items that will be taken to the event. She will create your final event plan with all the details for the day for example, travel details, nearest parking, maps, timings, any special requests.

Step Four: Styling

On the day, you will have at least 2 members of the One Romance team an event Planner to oversee every element from florals arriving at dawn to lighting setups, musicians, and photographers. One of our stylists (Jo, Clare, Erwin, Iva or Fairy) placing the final petals just moments before you arrive. It’s theatre-level precision behind a romantic calm.

Step Four: The Reveal

The best moment of all. The doors open, the music starts, and time stands still. Every detail from the candles to the backdrop comes together for one unforgettable “yes.”
