With National Proposal Day just a round the corner (its the 20th March for those of you who don’t know!) we thought we would give you a round up of our fabulous year as Romance Planners.

A LOT has happened at The One Romance HQ in the last year, so what better excuse to celebrate than by announcing them in the run up to National Proposal Day!

Here are our Top six moments (All of which have happened in the last 3 months!) :

1.  Our multi million proposal – We can’t say too much about this at the moment but we are currently arranging a proposal were the client has an ‘unlimited budget.’ We have had big meetings with a London council due to the fact we need to close down an entire area of London to pull it off, hire 80 policemen for safety, bring in 500 singers and arrange a HUGE celebrity guest appearance. The proposal is happening next year but there is a LOT of planning to do…and we can’t wait!!

 

1. Our Award – We were completely overwhelmed when we were chosen by Jacqueline Gold as her top three businesses of 2015-12016. Jacqueline had to choose between thousands of unique and interesting businesses and we were delighted when we received an email to say we had won! We now have a fabulous mentoring lunch to look forward to in a couple of weeks and we get to spend a day at Anne Summers HQ for a big networking do! Woo hoo!

1. The Media fell in love with us – We have had a tremendous amount of press attention in theist couple of months with many of our proposals being featured in the national press such as The Daily Mail, The Telegraph and The Evening Standard. Our founder Tiffany has also been filming for a VERY exciting TV show (more to come on that later!) and we have been interviewed by radio stations worldwide. Phew!

1.  The London Eye and The One Romance – We have partnered with The London Eye as their official ‘Romance Planners.’ This is our latest piece of Good news! Over the last couple of months we have been meeting with the fabulous folk at The London Eye who were so impressed by all of the proposal we have arranged on the Eye, that they asked us to be their official ‘Romance Planners.’ This means whenever someone gets in touch with The Eye and wants to plan something romantic, we arrange it all!

1. Our fabulous team – In the last couple months we have managed to grow the team at The One Romance. When we started, it was just Amanda and Tiffany running the business. However as we grew and more and more clients got in touch, we knew we had to bring more people on board. So along came Iva (our Creative Designer), Andy (our Visual Artist), Ambika (our PR girl!), Amanda (our Romance Blogger) and Sonia (our Proposal Planner and Wedding Expert!) It’s so fabulous to have such a wonderful team and we feel very honoured to have all of their talents. Best. Team. Ever.

6.  Tiffany becomes Brides magazine’s Engagement expert! Our founder Tiffany was thrilled to be asked to become Brides magazines official Engagement and Proposal Expert after she helped the magazine with an amazing Leap Year Proposal event where 11 women popped the question to their men. Brides is the most luxurious bridal magazine (their sister mags are Tatler and Glamour!) Tiffany now writes regular features for the magazine all about proposing and engagements!
