Our Pinterest themed marriage proposal in London

When Andy contacted us to help arrange his marriage proposal in London we were thrilled as we knew from talking to him that his proposal HAD to be unique. Andy and his girlfriend Beth were travelling over from The States and he was adamant that he wanted his marriage proposal in London to be unlike any other.

Andy filled out our consultations form (which asks lots of questions about him, Beth and their realtionship) and then sent it back to us so we could come up with a personalied idea especially for them. One of the thing we noticed was that Beth LOVES Pinterest, so after a bit of ‘Pinterest stalking’ we came up with a fabulous proposal idea.

Unbeknown to Andy, Beth actually had a ‘Dream Wedding’ board so we decided to recreate all of her pins from this board for her marriage proposal in London!

A Pinterest Themed Marriage Proposal in London

ON the day of the proposal Andy took Beth to a private venue under the pretence that he had heard it was frequently visited by celebs (which it is! It’s Hugh Grants favourite place to hang out!) As they arrived they were told there was a special ‘social media’ exhibition happening upstairs and were invited to have a look.

This is what happened;

Proposal ideas London — As Beth entered the room she saw a huge frame with a pinterest profile on it. At closer inspections he realised it was actually her own Pinterest profile!

We hired a selection of vintage chairs in order to display all of Beth’s “pins” on

175668 — Beth loved this pin with a wedding date on it…so we recreated it with their proposal date!

175669 — Beth fell in love with this ‘Oreos and milk’ set up, so we created one just for her!

175670 — Beth loved this soundwave idea which she put on her Pinterest. In order to make it personalsied to her, we got Andy to record himself saying ‘Will you Marry Me?’ and then we turned his voice into a soundwave (the red one on the left!)

175671 — Beth is obsessed with pumpkins (they were all over her pinterest!) so we created this pin with her enagement ring

unique proposal ideas — Scrabble letters simply couldn’t get more romantic! Our Scrabble letters slept out her proposal date!

Beth was complete shocked when she walked into the room and realised Andy had arranged everything especially for her!

She started to get emotional as she looked at all of the pins

The final surprise was her own Pinterest board where she had to turn over ‘pins’ to reveal the words “Will You Marry me?”
