Karim, who lives with his girlfriend Maya in Dubai, contacted us to arrange his proposal in Edinburgh. Having never been to Scotland before, Karim had no idea where to propose or how to propose, so we set about planning an incredibly unique and surprise proposal in Edinburgh, that was sure to end in a YES!

On the day of the proposal, Karim suggested to Maya that they go for a walk to Carlton hill – the perfect place for a magical proposal. Maya had no idea that our Proposal Planners were hidden and waiting, ready to help Karim pop the question.  Karim was in on the plan – and that was to pretend to take lots of photos of Maya with the Edinburgh backdrop.  Little did she know that behind her, a gorgeous handmade banner was being revealed that said ‘will you marry me?’ Karim took the photo with the banner in the background and then went to show Maya. As she looked at the photo she saw the sign in the picture, and then turned around to see it in real life! At that moment Karim got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife!

After the proposal our secret photographer (who had been snapping away throughout!) then took the couple around Edinburgh for a gorgeous engagement shoot!
