When we were contacted by Henry to help plan his proposal in Mallorca, we were over the moon. Not only did we get to visit one of the most beautiful cities in Europe but we were also able to get as creative as possible when it came to coming up with his proposal theme! Henry let us know that Maria was obsessed with Volleyball (Well, they are American after all!) so we decided to hire our the most beautiful roof terrace over looking Palma and set up a romantic volleyball proposal in Mallorca as the sun set.
We started by erecting a personalised volleyball net on the rooftop. The net was spray painted gold and the actual netting was made completely from fairy lights – it looked just stunning as soon as night fell. Henry explained that Maria and him have a romantic saying which is ‘the next 30 years” Meaning that every day when they tell each other they love each other , they follow this by saying “For The next 30 years.” So we made sure those very special words were up on the volleyball net too, along with gorgeous photos of the couple
Henry and Maria also had lots of fun romantic phrases that they say to each other so we made beautiful harts out of wood and wrote the saying on them. We just love this one below!
The final romantic touch was a personalised Volleyball where we wrote the words “Will you marry me?”
Just as the sun set, Henry led Maria up to the roof terrace and got down on one knee. No this is what we call a gorgeous proposal in Mallorca!
