A couple of months ago, Mario contacted us asking us to help him plan the perfect proposal for his girlfriend Sarah. As they were coming all the way from Malta to visit her brother living in London, what better opportunity to propose than on the iconic London Eye with its breath-taking views!
To make the occasion extra special and unique, Mario asked for a singer to perform the song ‘Marry You’ (Bruno Mars), a photographer and videographer to ensure that the entire proposal was caught on camera from start to finish and t-shirts with ‘WILL YOU MARRY ME?’ in a classic British typeface. Additionally, on the back of the t-shirts Mario requested a QR code that says ‘Mario and Sarah, London 24th June 2017!
The proposal went to plan perfectly, with Sarah assuming that everyone else in the pod were all working for the London Eye or tourists. Mario, Sarah, her brother and his girlfriend were served champagne as part of the VIP London Eye experience and were enjoying the incredible views when our singer began to perform ‘Marry Me’ as we neared the top.
Next, our three ‘tourists’ turned around to reveal the t-shirts that had been concealed under their jackets that asked the magic question. With the incredible view around us and the music playing, Mario proposed just as we reached the top of the Eye. Sarah said YES and was incredibly surprised and emotional – job done!
As if the whole occasion couldn’t get any more perfect, the singer continued to perform the song and they all danced right until they had to step out of the pod!
Once we were all off the London Eye, Mario and Sarah continued to mark this special occasion with a photoshoot on the Southbank and Waterloo Bridge with the sunset as a stunning backdrop.
