Romantic Flower of the Month: Gardenia

Gardenia

Welcome to 2018! For the start of the year, we decided to pick this classic, pure-white flower with its intricate petal structure. It is as delicate as it is beautiful and is a rare yet worthwhile find due to its short blooming season. Gardenia’s have a heady, sweet scent that will entrance your loved one, alongside its chic appearance.

The flower is also associated with purity, sweetness and secret love – why keep your affection a secret any longer? Show someone how much they mean to you with this stunning flower.

This sophisticated flower is perfect for those who want a classic feel to those special occasions including proposals, weddings and pregnancy announcements.

Did you know…?

The genus Gardenia is named after an 18th century physician and naturalist: Alexander Garden from Charleston of South Carolina, yet they originate from China and Japan.
