Romantic Flower of the Month: Tulips

With the start of Spring just around the corner, the tulip is the perfect flower for our blog this month! The symmetrical petals offer a classic and elegant option that look beautiful on their own or paired with other springtime flora. With a variety of colours and over 150 different species, you’ll be sure to find the right one for you when creating a bouquet or arrangement.

Red tulips are thought to symbolise true love whilst purple signifies loyalty, a winning combination for a proposal bouquet!

The tulip is a great choice for someone who loves vibrancy yet organisation in their flowers or someone who just loves spring!

Did you know…?

Tulips are native to Central Asia yet only became popular once they reached The Netherlands where they have the world’s largest permanent display of tulips at the Keukenhof and export over 3 billion every year.

Make sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for our next blog post on the 12 Most Romantic Flowers! If you missed last month’s flower, find it here.

If our blog inspired you to buy a bouquet of flowers for your loved one, make sure to take a photo and tag @TheOneRomance in it – we’d love to see it!
