Romantic Marriage Proposal at The Shangri La

We love coming up with romantic proposals in a luxury hotel, so when Elias contacted us to help him plan his  proposal in London we couldn’t wait to get started. Unlike a lot of people who need our help coming up with engagement ideas,  our client already knew what he wanted from his romantic marriage proposal –  a gorgeous hotel room filled with thousands of rose petals, candles and personalised touches. His idea echoes true, old fashioned romance – he wanted to wow – and his proposal certainly did that!

A Romantic Marriage proposal in a Luxury Hotel

Elias had flown over from Dubai to visit his stunning girlfriend who lives in London. On the day of the proposal, Elias called her and pretended that they had been invited for drinks with some of his London based colleagues at luxurious The Shangri La in London. Little did she know this was all a ruse….there were no drinks and no colleagues!

We hing a banner around the hotel suite which featured photos of the couples friends all holding signs encouraging her to "Say YES!"

Acting Skills

After Elias faked a phone call from his “colleagues” cancelling drinks, he suggested him and Sabine stay at the hotel for cocktails. At this point one of the members of staff approached them and asked if they would like to see one of the hotel rooms in case they every think of staying there. They were led upstairs and as Sabine opened the door this is what she saw:

The Wedding Proposal

To honour the couple’s privacy we have not shown the photos of the actual proposal as these are personal to the couple and they would prefer they were kept private. Thank you Elias and Sabine for letting us show the detailed shots of this stunning proposal.
