Romantic Proposal on the London Eye

Kyle got in contact with The One Romance knowing that he wanted to propose to his girlfriend Beckie on The London Eye and have their adorable daughter involved! As we are one of The London Eye’s Official Proposal Planners, we could plan this moment exactly how he had imagined!

The One Romance Team booked a River View room at the luxurious Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel for the couple’s special weekend away. After checking in, Kyle and Beckie walked along London’s iconic Southbank to The London Eye, where they picked up their VIP tickets and boarded their private pod. The staff served Kyle and the unsuspecting Beckie champagne and chocolates.

As they reached the top, one of our Proposal Planners, approached Beckie with a very special gift from their daughter Isla. At the same time, the musicians began to perform Imagine Dragon’s ‘On Top of the World’.

Very confused, Beckie opened the present to reveal a picture of Isla holding a sign asking ‘Mummy, will you marry Daddy?’. As Isla had already popped the question, Kyle got down on one knee and proposed! Between the shock, disbelief and happiness, she said yes! The musicians carried on playing Coasts’ ‘Oceans’ and Maroon 5’s ‘It Was Always You’ as the newly engaged couple were photographed with London’s mesmerising skyline behind them!

Once they were back on the ground, they had a photoshoot at sunset on the Southbank before walking through London’s Piccadilly Circus and onto Regent’s Street that was decorated with the gorgeous Christmas lights. They celebrated their engagement with drinks at the Ice Bar and dinner at the Hard Rock Café where they already had many memories together and added one more!

This proposal was so personal and fitted the couple perfectly; we are so glad that Kyle chose The One Romance to help him propose as we loved creating this special moment!
