Adorable Easter Egg Proposal

What better time of year to propose and start a new chapter in your life than at Easter, a time of celebration and new beginnings! Add in an Easter Egg Hunt with adorable clues, gorgeous weather and a stunning location and you’ve got the perfect proposal!

Sanjay approached The One Romance and wanted to propose to his girlfriend Sonia in a unique way that would be personal to them and include all of their special moments in their relationship so far!

After a luxurious brunch, Sanjay took Sonia to London’s iconic Hampstead Heath and upon entering, they were greeted by one of our Proposal Planners with a basket and their first clue! Little did Sonia know that this was the beginning of her Easter Egg Hunt Proposal!

The clues were written by our incredibly creative Proposal Planners who had composed a collection of short poems that gave them hints of where to go next. There were also little snippets from their special moments including their first date, the first time their parents met, Valentine’s Day, birthdays and anniversaries! Of course, chocolates had to be included in the hunt!

One of our favourite snippets was:

‘Our first date that got crashed by a fly,
No wine for you but you certainly caught my eye!’

The hunt took them all around the beautiful Pergola and our Team were always in the background making sure they didn’t go the wrong way! The secret photographer was also getting these amazing snapshots of the Easter Egg Hunt without the couple noticing!

The end of the final clue said…

‘Let’s go see if we are winning,
Are we at the end or the beginning?’

As they turned the corner, our Proposal Planners were holding a huge sign with the words ‘Will You Marry Me?’! Of course she said yes and they celebrated with champagne in this stunning location!
